Paignton National Railways Station

Paignton is the terminus of the Paignton Branch line and consists of two platforms both capable of holding 10 car trains. Platform 1 is rarely used and is only used by trains which are going into the nearby Goodrington Sidings, trains such as long distance VXC services use this platform as well as some SWT London Waterloo services. The platform is also occasionally used by FGW HSTs. Platform 2 is the main platform where most services terminate, this is used by all trains. Sometimes by Wessex 150/2s when  terminating and other operators when the train comes out of Goodrington Sidings. Paignton has a near hourly service operated by Wessex Trains and also a daily HST to London aswell as VXC services.
