Stations around Torbay

Torbay is home to many different stations. This is due to the fact that two separate railways run here. These are the National railways branch line which branches of form Newton Abbot and the Paignton and Dartmouth steam Railway which was once part of the mainline although was closed towards the end of steam. Although it was opened very quickly in private hands. There are eight stations in total in Torbay. There were originally 9, although Kingskerswell and Brixham closed.
