Stations
around Torbay
Torbay is home
to many different stations. This is due to the fact that two
separate railways run here. These are the National railways branch
line which branches of form Newton Abbot and the Paignton and
Dartmouth steam Railway which was once part of the mainline although
was closed towards the end of steam. Although it was opened very
quickly in private hands. There are eight stations in total in
Torbay. There were originally 9, although Kingskerswell and Brixham
closed.
